Benefits

Why Choose APEX PVDF Aluminum Panels

  • Superior Weather and UV Resistance

The Kynar 500 coating resists fading, chalking and chemical erosion in coastal and industrial settings.

  • High Strength-to-Weight Ratio

Panels up to 4.0 mm thick stay rigid in high-wind areas yet remain easy to install.

  • Fire Performance

Solid aluminum is a non-combustible metal, and the fire classification of the coated panel (EN 13501-1) is stated in the project submittal.

  • Advanced Fabrication

Panels can be CNC cut, bent and curved into complex shapes.

Custom

Customization and Finish Options

The production line supports custom sizes up to 1500 mm × 6000 mm, while CNC punching and folding shape mounting lugs and corner joins. The coating follows AAMA 2605 and uses at least 70% fluorocarbon resin; for coastal projects a three-coat PVDF coated aluminum panel system is recommended.

Standard finishes cover metallic, solid colors and stone-texture effects, so the panel suits many facades. If you send your drawings, our team can price your custom panels and confirm the finish.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical information on selecting, installing and maintaining PVDF aluminum cladding.

What is the difference between PVDF and PE coating?
PVDF is a high-performance fluorocarbon for exterior use, with 15–20 years of durability. PE (polyester) is typically used for interior or short-term signage.
Can these panels be used for curved facades?
Yes. The 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm panels can be factory-rolled to set radii for columns or curved walls.
How are the panels fixed to the building?
Usually onto a sub-frame of aluminum or steel angles, with the pre-formed lugs bolted or screwed to the carrier.
What is the lead time for custom color matching?
Standard colors ship in 3–4 weeks. Custom matching and sample approval add about 1–2 weeks.
Are these panels environmentally friendly?
Aluminum is recyclable. Our PVDF process uses VOC recovery systems.
What wind load can the panels carry?
Panels are designed per project from the wind pressure, panel size, thickness and fixing layout, up to 5.0 kPa. We provide the calculation for your consultant.
Do you supply panels for projects in Saudi Arabia and the UAE?
Yes. We prepare the technical submittal for your consultant. See the standards and codes on our aluminum panel curtain wall page, or contact us for project support.
