These panels use aluminum sheet with coating and thermal transfer printing to replicate wood texture while keeping aluminum's strength. Wood grain finishes are applied by thermal transfer printing over a PVDF or polyester coating. The coatings resist UV, corrosion and aging while keeping color stable. They offer better moisture, temperature and outdoor resistance than natural wood, with no fading or peeling under normal use. For exterior and Gulf-climate projects, specify the PVDF base coating; polyester is for interior use.
